I am so happy to share this nourishing space for mothers and babas to gather together. This is for mothers who are craving soulful connections and joyful experiences. For mothers who feel called to immerse in the magic of nature and ceremony with baby in arms. This is a sacred circle for mothers to be seen, heard and held with love, and without judgement. I believe this is where so much healing lies in motherhood. It’s the simple yet life changing act of mothering side by side. As we walk through the transformative rite of passage of motherhood we can gain so much understanding, clarity and comfort from being around other mothers. To share our stories, break down the walls and open our hearts to give and receive support as we remember that we were never meant to do this alone.
This offering has come from deep in my heart as a way to offer a space of sweetness for mothers to come together. There is simply not enough support for mothers in our world, even though we are literally birthing and nurturing a New Earth. We hear all the time how many mothers feel lonely, disconnected or burnt out at some point. The village community rarely exists anymore in our fast paced culture. I believe a big part of the loneliness many mothers feel could be remedied if we were in community with other mothers and chiklren. Our hearts long for this connection as we navigate the profound shifts motherhood brings.
Matrescence is a word used to describe the physical, psychological and emotional changes women go through when becoming a mother. It is a monumental consciousness shift which impacts your relationship with self, others and the world. However, it is not spoken about enough so many go through the rite of passage feeling confused and overwhelmed without any guidance. I often wonder what kind of shifts a mother would feel if she had greater awareness and support to move through this transition feeling empowered and in trust of what was unravelling and transforming within her and around her. Becoming a mother changes you on every level. It is a powerful spiritual metamorphosis. An evolution into your highest truth. We will dive deep into this important conversation throughout our time together, both in our online circles and during the day retreat. I vision us coming together to co-create a space of maternal warmth and compassion for ourselves and each other in the knowing that this will have a huge positive impact on our precious children. I am calling in the mamas who are feeling a deep yearning for this kind of authentic and heartfelt connection. To celebrate motherhood for the incredible expansion that it is and to celebrate each other for the strength and power we hold as mothers.
WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY RETREAT?
Imagine sitting in a yurt with the birds singing around us, flowers in full Summer bloom and the warmth of the July sunshine radiating. Maybe you will have a cup of cacao in one hand and your baby in the other or your toddler will be playing around you with the natural toys. Anything goes in our space as we will always flow with the needs of the group. It will be a day of nourishment for heart, body and soul through ceremony, sound, song, nature and incredible food. We will be immersed in the beauty of the Forest as Mother Nature holds us throughout. You will even have an opportunity to step into the wood fired sauna whilst your baby is cared for (by me and our dedicated support sisters) right outside on the land if you feel called.)

WHAT IS INCLUDED ON THE DAY RETREAT?
The day retreat is a love filled space for you and your baby to have a beautiful day out together with me and Violet and the rest of the circle. The focus is on nourishing you, dear mama, which naturally flows to your baby as they are literally one with your whole being and nervous system. However, our precious children will be a part of all of the magic and I have created this in consideration of all. In true mama style we will be in flow with our babes needs throughout the days so obviously do whatever you need to do at any time regarding naps etc. There is land where you can walk your baby in a carrier or pram for naps. At the heart of the day retreats is the joy of us all simply being with each other and mothering side by side but there will also be some wonderful things weaved throughout. I will have some guests coming in to share their gifts with us but here is some of the things you can expect..

WHO IS THIS OFFERING FOR?
This is aimed at mothers of children under three years old who are seeking community, spiritual connection and healing. If you are craving to do something magical for yourself but with baby included then this is for you. This is about us being together in community and connection, which is often where the most powerful medicine is found, especially when we are in the first few years postpartum.

PAYMENT PLAN OPTION
As a self-employed new mother myself, I know that investments into healing and trips are not always accessible, especially in this time of shifts on our planet right now where the cost of everything is rising. Therefore I am offering an option to pay via payment plan to spread the cost over 2 instalments. An initial deposit of £100 is required to secure your place please. The remaining balance of £80 must be paid by 20th June 2023 please. If you require further support to make it flow for the position your in then please do reach out as I would always want to find a way to make this possible for any mama who feels the called.

HAPPY RIVER ADDRESS

Please use this address in Sat Nav as it should bring you directly to Happy River Retreat. However, if you have any issues select ‘The Silent Woman Pub’ as a landmark as the entrance is opposite Happy River
HOW TO FIND IT VIA CAR & PARKING INSTRUCTIONS
We have a handy landmark right opposite to help guide you in! Follow along the forest road (through Wareham Forest) until you come to a pub called ‘The Silent Woman’…our turning is DIRECTLY opposite the red post box outside this pub. (If in doubt pull into the pub carpark to locate it)
If the pub is on your left, our turning will be on your right. It’s a small farm track which you follow for a short while until you see a track banking up to your left into our dedicated car park (which has lights at night)
Follow this in and park in the furthermost space available and as close together as you can so we can accommodate everyone
Once you pull up you will see the Makers Barn right in front of you with a glass front. Follow the Forest path to the right, down to the space past the outdoor kitchen, onto the deck on the ground floor and you can’t miss it
TRAVELLING VIA TRAIN
Wareham train station is just 5 minutes drive away. There are direct trains from London Waterloo and Clapham Junction. You could pre book a taxi to collect you or I may be able to arrange one of my support team to collect you from Wareham station and bring you to Happy River if needed. Please reach out anytime if you need any help.

If you are travelling with your partner/family/friends then you may be interested in staying in Dorset for the weekend to make a holiday out of it and enjoy the amazing beaches and nature available which will be beautiful in July :)

I can also give you lots of tips and recommendations for things to do, places to visit etc. Also, if you need any support searching for places to stay on Air B&B in regards to areas etc please reach out anytime as i will be happy to support you in finding the best place

£100 deposit is required to secure your place which is non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because I have to make a non-refundable deposit payment to secure the retreat venue. If you pay via payment plan the full balance must be paid by 20th June 2023. If you need to cancel your place please see the following terms - if you cancel your place by 19th May 2023 (1 month prior to the container starting) you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your place after 19th May 2023 you will not receive any refund. However, if we manage to fill your space I will transfer your place and refund you the payment. I will ALWAYS try and make sure no one loses out just as long as there is enough time and space to do so. I honour the flowing changes and shifts that being a mother and family brings so I will do my very best to find solutions that honour all involved :) Just to confirm if I cancel the container for any reason you would receive a full refund.
